Jasprit Bumrah will return to India’s Test squad for the two-match series in the West Indies next month after a planned six-week break from competitive cricket.
The selectors also handed maiden call-ups to left-arm spinner Saurabh Kumar and top-order batter Yash Dhull. Both have been rewarded for consistent domestic seasons.
Bumrah’s return is the headline. India have managed his workload carefully since the 2025 World Cup, and the Caribbean tour will be his first red-ball assignment since March.
The squad will assemble in Ahmedabad on November 18 for a week-long conditioning camp before flying out.
